Tom Q. Gehl is the Founder and Principal of Civic Forward Strategies. With over 30 years of experience in governmental affairs, Tom brings a wealth of experience and has trusted, bi-partisan relationships with members of the Georgia General Assembly, city and county officials, and business and non-profit leaders.

Tom maintains extensive bi-partisan, statewide political relationships; which he has cultivated through his work during every General Assembly session since 1990. Prior to founding Civic Forward Strategies, Tom led the legislative and governmental relations team for the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), a statewide trade group representing the 537 cities in the state, and served in the Georgia Senate Research Office as a senior policy analyst and committee staffer. Tom has been recognized as a top lobbyist and led his team to be consistently named as one of the top lobbying groups in Georgia by James Magazine.
